Dodd City, Texas -- The Dodd City Lady Hornets moved to 20-11 on the season and 1-0 in district with a three-set win over the Savoy Lady Cardinals.

Dodd City posted wins of 25-9, 25-17 and 25-17.

Addison Weeks put down a match-high 21 kills, Gracyn Shindler had seven kills, Kayleigh McBrayer knocked down three kills, Caroline Lackey contributed two kills and Kenzi Freeman finished with one kill.

Shindler dished out 14 assists and Freeman had nine assists.

Weeks came up with 15 digs and Freeman was close behind with 13 digs. Shindler was also in double digits with 10 digs.

Lackey had a team-high two blocks.

Freeman led the Lady Hornets at the service line with five aces. Adisen White, McBrayer and Shindler all had the aces apiece.

Dodd City will travel to Ector on Friday for another district match.
