NORTHEAST

 

Fort Gibson: October 13. Elevation is 2.5 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 76°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, jerk baits, jigs, topwater lures, and worms around coves, docks, points, and shorelines. Striped bass hybrids and white bass good on crankbaits, hair jigs, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, spoons, and topwater lures below the dam, main lake, and points. Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, shad, shrimp, and worms below the dam, coves, and points. Report submitted by Cody Morris, game warden stationed in Wagoner County.

 

Greenleaf: October 15. Elevation is 6 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 75°F and clear. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, flukes, jerk baits, lipless baits, plastic baits, and small lures around coves, creek channels, docks, main lake, points, and shorelines. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, stinkbait, and worms around docks, flats, and shallows. Crappie good on jigs, minnows, and slabs around brush structure and docks. Report submitted by Dylan Langford, game warden stationed in Muskogee County.

 

Keystone: October 13. Elevation is 5 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 75°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on crankbaits, jerk baits, and jigs around brush structure and riprap.

Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait and dough bait around main lake, riprap, and river mouth. Bluegill sunfish good on worms around brush structure and docks. Report submitted by Bailey Johnson, game warden stationed in Creek County.

 

Lower Illinois River: October 11. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 65°F and clear. Rainbow trout fair on caddis flies, crickets, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, and worms below the dam, shallows, and shorelines. Comments: Current river flow 260 CFS around the clock. Report submitted by Jerry Henry, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.

 

Tenkiller: October 13. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 75°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass good on crankbaits, jerk baits, jigs, plastic baits, and topwater lures around coves, docks, points, and shorelines. Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, and shad around channels, coves, and points. White bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, and jigs around creek channels, flats, and main lake. Report submitted by Cody Youngblood, game warden stationed in Cherokee County.

 

Webbers Falls: October 13. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 75°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, jerk baits, plastic baits, and topwater lures around coves, docks, points, and shorelines. Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, and shad around channels, coves, points, and river channel. White bass good on crankbaits, jigs, lipless baits, and sassy shad below the dam, creek channels, flats, and main lake. Report submitted by Dylan Langford, game warden stationed in Muskogee County.

Blue River: October 15. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 70°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on bill baits, crankbaits, grubs, jerk baits, lipless baits, plastic baits, topwater lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, creek channels, river channel, river mouth, rocks, shallows, shorelines, and weed beds. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, punch bait, stinkbait, and worms around brush structure, channels, river channel, and rocks. Report submitted by Ethan Lovelace, biologist at the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.

 

Broken Bow: October 12. Elevation is 11 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 83°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass slow on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, and plastic baits around brush structure, points, river channel, and standing timber. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, and minnows around brush structure, points, and standing timber. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

 

Eufaula: October 11. Elevation is 4.5 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 75°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, jerk baits, and plastic baits around channels, creek channels, and riprap. Crappie fair on hair jigs, minnows, and spoons around brush structure and standing timber. Striped bass, striped bass hybrids, and white bass fair on crankbaits, flukes, lipless baits, sassy shad, and shad below the dam, discharge, and tailwater. Report submitted by Jake Rowland, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.

 

Konawa: October 13. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 70°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and plastic baits around main lake, points, river channel, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and live shad around coves, inlet, main lake, and river channel. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, and shrimp around coves, inlet, riprap, and rocks. Report submitted by Garret Harley, game warden stationed in Seminole County.

 

Lower Mountain Fork River: October 11. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 63°F and clear. Rainbow trout good on midges, PowerBait, tube jigs, and worms around creek channels and spillway. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

 

McGee Creek: October 11. Elevation is 5 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 76°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass excellent on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, jerk baits, jigs, minnows, plastic baits, and small lures around brush structure, dam, docks, points, riprap, rocks, shallows, shorelines, and standing timber. Channel and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, hot dogs, shad, shrimp, stinkbait, and worms around channels, dam, discharge, and flats. Crappie slow on minnows, small lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, main lake, points, and standing timber. Report submitted by Shay Loudermilk, game warden stationed in Atoka County.

 

Pine Creek: October 11. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 75°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and topwater lures around flats and points. Crappie good on jigs around brush structure, creek channels, and standing timber. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, and punch bait around creek channels and river channel. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

 

Robert S. Kerr: October 11. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 83°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, lipless baits, plastic baits, rogues, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around channels, inlet, points, river channel, river mouth, and weed beds. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, shad, and stinkbait around channels, creek channels, flats, inlet, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie on jigs and minnows around flats, inlet, main lake, points, and standing timber. Report submitted by Allen Couch, game warden stationed in Haskell County.

 

Sardis: October 11. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 78°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around brush structure, channels, points, shorelines, and standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, shad, stinkbait, and worms around channels, main lake, points, and standing timber. Crappie good on jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around channels, points, and standing timber. Report submitted by Thomas Gillham, game warden stationed in Pushmataha County.

 

Texoma: October 12. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 82°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass fair on live bait and live shad around channels, main lake, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, live shad, PowerBait, punch bait, stinkbait, and sunfish around channels, coves, docks, and points. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and nymphs around brush structure, docks, points, and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week was okay. Striper are getting better each day. Some days are tough but still getting better. Catfish are being caught on live shad and cut bait near baited holes. Wister: October 11. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 78°F and stained.
