McKinney, Texas – Celebrate the holiday season in Downtown McKinney at the 43rd annual "Home for the Holidays: A McKinney Christmas." From November 29 – December 1, explore McKinney's winter wonderland set in the historic 165-year-old downtown area.

Official Tree Lighting Ceremony

 

Kick off the holiday season at the Tree Lighting Ceremony happening Friday, Nov. 30, at 6:15 p.m. on the Downtown McKinney square. H-E-B sponsors the McKinney Community Christmas Tree with support from individuals across the community.

 

Visits with Santa

 

Santa will be on the square to hear what the little ones have on their wish list.

 

 

Capture the moment with a photo you will cherish for years to come. Reservations are not required.

 

Live holiday entertainment

 

The McKinney stage is filled with three days of live holiday entertainment. Mosaix, Maylee Thomas, Mayor George Fuller and Andy Timmons are confirmed to perform for the tree lighting ceremony happening Friday, Nov.30, at 6:15 p.m.

 

Family-friendly attractions

 

Take a fun-filled ride on a Ferris wheel, carousel, snow hill, Frosty's train, and many other exciting attractions. Visitors also love the petting zoo, rock climbing wall, and Candyland.
