Theda was a devout Southern Baptist. She joined the United States Air Force in 1964 where she served for two years before leaving the service as a registered nurse.

Theda married James Alfred Fenstermacher in May of 1967; the couple went on to spend 50 years together before James’ passing in 2017.

Mrs. Fenstermacher is survived by her sons; Jay Fenstermacher and wife Kristin, John Fenstermacher and wife Michele, and one granddaughter Victoria.

She was preceded in death by her parents J.T and Evelyn, her eldest son James (Goob) JR., and her beloved husband James.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, TX. Interment and ceremony will be held on December 19, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Dallas National Cemetery, plot #18A 61.
